How do I create an Account on Citymart.com?

When you have registered as a user, and clicked the confirmation link in the email from Citymart.com, you navigate to My Citymart.com -> Account Registration. Here you follow the two steps in creating a new Account,

How do I join an Account I know already exists?

When you have registered as a user, and clicked the confirmation link in the email from Citymart.com, you navigate to My Citymart.com -> Account Registration. Instead of creating a new Account, you ask for association to an existing Account. Browse the drop down of existing accounts to find the Account you belong to, and ask for association. Once you are accepted by the Account Administrator, you will get access to additional functionality provided by the Account Administrator.

Why is my Showcase not visible?

When you have created a Showcase, you need to publish it. To do so, navigate to My Citymart.com -> My Showcases -> Click on the Showcase you want to publish -> Click Edit live version -> Click on the Publication tab -> Press Publish on the specific version of the Showcase you want to publish. Please note that any other versions of the Showcase are automatically archived.

Who is Account Administrator on my Account?

The first user who creates an account is automatically Account Administrator. However, the role of Account Administrator can subsequently be provided or passed on by the Account Administrator to other users.

Why do I get an error when clicking the request new password in my email, after requesting a new password? Back to top

Certain browser plugins such as AVG Safe Search must be disabled on some browsers such as Google Chrome to be able to click the password confirmation link in the email. In Google Chrome, go to Options -> Extensions, disable the plug-in, and restart the browser. Remember to re-enable the plug-in afterwards.

Why are my Vimeo video Assets not available on mobile devices?

You need to check the flag in your Vimeo account to make videos available on mobile devices.

Where can I see which showcases I have submitted to a Call?

You go to Call for Solutions -> Click on Open Calls -> Click on the specific Call (e.g. LLGA|Cities Pilot the Future). The button View My Submitted Solutions will be visible if you have submitted any showcases to the Call. Clicking on the button will take you to a list of your submitted showcases.

Where can I see which version of a showcase is Live?

You go to My Citymart.com -> My Showcases, All showcases with status "Published" are live.

Where can I see which version of a showcase is the Draft we are working on?

You go to My Citymart.com -> My Showcases -> Click on the specific Showcase -> Click Edit live version -> Go to the Publication Tab. The Draft showcase you are currently working on will have a check mark in the column Current Draft column.

Why can't I delete my Showcase?

There can be several reasons that you cannot Delete your Showcase. 1/ Ensure that the showcase is not submitted to a Call in the Calls tab. If the Call is still open you can withdraw your showcase and then delete it. 2/ Ensure that you are the Lead Editor of the Showcase. If not, ask your Account Administrator or the actual Lead Editor for assistance. 3/ Ensure that the Showcase is not Published. You need to Archive the Showcase first by pressing the Archive button and then delete it.

Why can't I submit my Showcase to a Call?

There can be several reasons that you cannot Submit your showcase to a Call. 1/ Ensure that the showcase is Published before submitted to a Call. 2/ Ensure that you are the Lead Editor of the Showcase. If not, ask your Account Administrator or the actual Lead Editor for assistance. 3/ Ensure that the Showcase fulfills the criterions of the Call. When you try to submit the Showcase, a pop-box will explain what parts are missing. Go back to Showcase -> Create & Edit, and selected the Showcase and add the missing items.

I get "Flash : The upload task is interrupted! io Error #2038" when I try to upload images or documents?

We have seen this problem for some users using Mac computers, and are currently investigating a fix. Until then, please send images and documents to Support, together with the Title of the Showcase, and they will manually add the images and documents to the showcase.

Why do I get and error when clicking the "View" button on a Showcase submitted to a Call?

This happens when you have submitted a Showcase that is not published to a Call. You can either publish the Showcase to avoid the error, or you can view the Showcase using the "Preview" button in edit view under Showcase -> Manage (and then select the Showcase in question).

Problems with Chrome browser and Storify plug-in!

If you are using Chrome to view Citymart.com you should NOT have any problems at all. But please ensure that you do NOT have the Storify plug-in from Storify.com enabled. This plug-in will cause Citymart.com not work. Please disable or uninstall this plug-in when using Citymart.

You own the content and information you post on Citymart.com and you can control how it is shared through your administration tools, with the following exceptions: a) Showcases submitted to Citymart.com or to events on Citymart.com. b) Information shared by you with other users through communication such as messages, comments, forums threads, notifications, emails, and private channels. c) Information including photos, videos, and other multimedia content provided for showcase on other accounts, to which you are invited to contribute. d) Published showcases in print or online. e) Back-ups of the Citymart.com databases. f) Online achieves and/or in printed materials. Please note that Citymart.com furthermore reserves a non-exclusive right to publish public showcases and the associated pictures, video, and multimedia content online and in print.

Sharing Relations

When you publish information on Citymart.com, it means that you are allowing other users and visitors to Citymart.com to access and use that information, and to request association with you.

Feedback and Comments

Citymart.com allows you to interact with other users and visitors of Citymart.com, and strives for maintaining high standards in the interactions taking place on Citymart.com. a) Content and communication on Citymart.com must be held in a decent and non-defamatory language. b) Unauthorized commercial communications may not take place on Citymart.com. c) Information on users and visitors may not be collected by automated means. d) Information that is untrue, unlawful, misleading, malicious, or discriminatory may not be posted on Citymart.com. Citymart.com reserves the right to temporarily or permanently ban any user on Citymart.com violating the above code without any explanation and without any warranty for loss of business or other damage.

Interaction with Citymart.com and Other Users on Citymart.com

Citymart.com appreciates your feedback or comments about Citymart.com, but may use them without any obligation to compensate you for them. You must ensure that your email address with Citymart.com is up-to-date and valid. By using Citymart.com you agree to that Citymart.com uses your email address for validation of your identity, notifications, and communication about Citymart.com activities. Citymart.com will not disclose your address to third parties.

Project Validation

Citymart.com provides an online tool "Project Validation" through which a company can validate a Project by inviting Stakeholders to validate information about that Project. Citymart.com facilitates a process through which validation is carried out by Independent Stakeholders upon invitation by the Showcase Company. Citymart.com does not validate the Project for its accuracy nor resume any responsibility and / or liability for its independence, accuracy and / or truthfulness. The responsibility of getting a Project validated lies in full with the Showcase Company. Furthermore, liability for any misrepresentation of Project information lies fully with the Showcase Company. Citymart.com does not have any liability for intentional or unintentional misrepresentation of independence, inaccurate, and / or untruthful validation of Projects Facts by Stakeholders carrying out validation.

Account Security

Citymart.com strive to be a safe and secure platform. However, to maintain your account safe and secure there are a number of standards you must adhere to: a) Your user account is personal and you may not allow other users access to your account. b) Your user account must always be protected by a strong password. c) Your user details must be accurate and true d) You may not transfer your user account details to a third party without the permission of Citymart.com Citymart.com reserves the right to temporarily or permanently remove or reclaim user or account names it if it is believed to be appropriate, including but not limited to issues of copyright and trademarks and without any warranty for loss of business or other damage.

Protecting Third Party Rights

To respect the rights of third parties, Citymart.com request that the following requirements are adhered to: a) You may not post content or take any action on Citymart.com that infringes or violates third party rights or otherwise violates the law. b) Citymart.com may remove any content or information, if Citymart.com believes that it violates this Statement. c) If Citymart.com removes your content for infringing someone else's copyright, and you believe Citymart.com removed it by mistake, you are required to contact Citymart.com without undue delay with adequate details for Citymart.com to correct the mistake. Citymart.com reserves the right to temporarily or permanently remove or reclaim information and content of Citymart.com if it is believed to infringe third party rights without any warranty for loss of business or other damage.

Amendments

This Statement is subject to change provided notice on Citymart.com. Changes can be made for legal or administrative reasons, or to correct inaccurate statements, without notice. As special provision, during the current beta-phase, this statement may be changed in its entirety without notice.

Termination

If you violate the letter or spirit of this Statement, or otherwise create risk or possible legal exposure for Citymart.com, Citymart.com can stop providing all or part of Citymart.com to you. Citymart.com will notify you by email or at the next time you attempt to access your account. You may also delete your account or disable your application at any time.

Disputes

The laws of the Denmark will govern this Statement, as well as any claim that might arise between you and Citymart.com, without regard to conflict of law provisions. You agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of the courts located in Copenhagen, Denmark for the purpose of litigating all such claims. If anyone brings a claim against Citymart.com related to your actions, content or information on Citymart.com, you will indemnify and hold Citymart.com harmless from and against all damages, losses, and expenses of any kind (including reasonable legal fees and costs) related to such claim. Please note, you use Citymart.com at your own risk. Citymart.com is provided as is without any express or implied warranties including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Citymart.com does not guarantee that it will be safe or secure. Citymart.com is not responsible for the actions, content, information, or data of third parties and you release Citymart.com, Citymart.com directors, officers, employees, and agents from any claims and damages, known and unknown, arising out of or in any way connected with any claim you have against any such third parties. References to “you” mean the account, including the associated users. This Statement makes up the entire agreement between the parties regarding Citymart.com, and supersedes any prior agreements. If any portion of this Statement is found to be unenforceable, the remaining portion will remain in full force and effect. If Citymart.com fails to enforce any of this Statement, it will not be considered a waiver. Any amendment to or waiver of this Statement must be made in writing and signed by Citymart.com. You will not transfer any of your rights or obligations under this Statement to anyone else without the consent of Citymart.com. All of Citymart.com’s rights and obligations under this Statement are freely assignable by Citymart.com in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, or by operation of law or otherwise.
